CPERC 2025 – Niagara Falls – June 17-20, 2025

Reconnect with your colleagues and friends in Niagara Falls for CPERC 2025 AFPC’s annual Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference, June 17-20 at the Crowne Plaza Fallsview Hotel. CPERC 2025 is co-hosted by the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo. New for 2025 is a joint pharmacy practice research symposium following CPERC on June 20, 2025. 

CPERC PROGRAM

The CPERC program consists of educational streams for pharmacy educators and researchers. Education sessions will be on June 18 & 19 and include keynote presentations, mini and concurrent sessions, faculty updates and poster presentations. Social events include an opening reception (June 17), awards gala (June 18) and Toronto-Waterloo fun night (June 19). Check out the CPERC Program

PHARMACY PRACTICE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
The June 20 symposium, Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy (SHARP), is co-hosted by the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada, Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) and Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network (OPEN). This full day symposium will focus on strengthening the health of Canadians through research in pharmacy practice. The SHARP program includes keynote presentations, mini sessions and panel feedback, conversation tables, over 60 PPR poster presentations and time for networking. The symposium will bring together researchers, educators, pharmacists, pharmacy leaders, policy makers, knowledge users and trainees to learn about current pharmacy research and to engage in discussions about improving pharmacy practice and primary healthcare across Canada. Check out the SHARP Program. 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 
The call for oral and poster abstracts for CPERC and the Symposium closed on January 31, 2025. 183 abstracts were submitted and are being peer reviewed. Authors will be notified by April 15. 

A call for late-breaking pharmacy practice research abstracts for the SHARP symposium is now open - submissions are due April 18. See the Call for Abstracts page for more details

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION – now open!

Register on My Conference Suite at: https://events.myconferencesuite.com/CPERC2025/reg/landing. Early bird rates are in effect until May 15.

CPERC (June 17-19): Full conference registration includes the opening reception, awards gala and the Toronto-Waterloo fun night event tickets. Early bird prices for full conference registration are: $750 (AFPC members) |$850 (non-members) | $350 (full-time students), plus HST. The single day rate is $350 | $400 | $150. Rates increase on May 16 to $850 | $950 | $400 for full CPERC registration, and $400 | $450 | $200 for single day. Registrants may opt out of attending the awards gala and receive a $50 credit.

Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy Symposium (June 20): Early bird prices for the pharmacy practice research symposium are $350 (AFPC members and non-members) and $150 for full-time students (plus HST). Rates increase on May 16 to $400 and $200.

Sheraton Fallsview Hotel
