CPERC 2022 Overview

Reconnect with your colleagues and friends in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador, for AFPC’s Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (CPERC), June 14-17 at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.

CPERC 2022 is co-hosted by Dalhousie University and Memorial University. The program will consist of educational streams for pharmacy educators and researchers in all disciplines and interests. Education sessions will be on June 15 & 16 with a post-CPERC symposium on June 17 (Assessment of Student Performance in PharmD Programs). The Awards gala will be on June 15. The CALL FOR ABSTRACTS closed on January 31st for oral and poster presentations, with 105 abstracts submitted. The abstracts were peer-reviewed and authors have been notified.

The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland is the conference hotel (115 Cavendish Square, St. John’s, NL  A1C 3K2). The Sheraton hotel is now sold out. AFPC has a small room block very close to the Sheraton at the DoubleTree by Hilton St. John's Harbourview at $209 per night. Please note: CPERC 2022 will be an in-person conference - a virtual option is not available. AFPC will follow all public health guidelines and recommendations. Delegates will be asked to wear masks. In order to attend, delegates must be fully vaccinated by May 31, 2022 (14 days prior to the start of the conference).
