CPERC 2022 Overview

Save the Date! CPERC 2022 – St. John’s, NL – June 14-17, 2022

Reconnect with your colleagues and friends in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador, for AFPC’s Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (CPERC), June 14-17 at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.

CPERC 2022 is co-hosted by Dalhousie University and Memorial University. The program will consist of educational streams for pharmacy educators and researchers in all disciplines and interests. Education sessions will be on June 15 & 16 with a post-CPERC symposium on June 17 (Assessment of Student Performance in PharmD Programs). The Awards gala will be on June 16.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION is now open! Early bird rates are in effect until May 15 ($600 for members for full conference registration).

The CALL FOR ABSTRACTS is now open. Authors must use the MyAbstract online system to submit and manage your abstracts. The submission deadline will be January 31, 2022. Pharmacy educators, researchers and students are invited to submit abstracts, for consideration as 20-minute oral presentations (during concurrent mini-sessions or SIG sessions) or poster presentations.

Please note: We are planning for an in-person conference. However, we recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic remains a significant public health concern. AFPC will continue to monitor the situation and follow all local public health guidelines and recommendations. If required, CPERC 2022 will transition to a virtual event (with registration fees partially refunded to reflect the virtual conference rate).
